On August 21st, 1999 the Clumsy Congress had its second annual meetup. At the ungodly hour of 10am on a Saturday morning, Congressors from the Southern Ontario area (and beyond) began to filter onto the Wonderland grounds and collect at the gates.
By 10:30 we were a small mob and ready to hook up with Jenn and Naomi from Sony for an informal photo shoot and prepare to terrorize wonderland. Naomi and Jenn came bearing gifts of One Man Army singles. We all took a moment to drool accordingly and swap OLP pics and a few stories.

As we were gathering ourselves together to get head into the park, all of a sudden, RMJDgirl pointed and said "over yonder, A bus bearing Mike's Name!" (ok so that's not really what she said but it sounds much more dramatic my way!) And sure enough over in the parking lot was a Tuner coach lines bus. After a small mixup at the gate and getting separated into two groups. we finally found each other again.

After that it was off to the coasters (and the line ups). On the way we passed a stage where they were asking the dangerous question: "What would you do for a Klondike Cone?" Katie decided she would like a klondike cone and informed the guy "I will dance like an idiot for a Klondie Cone". Well. Katie got her cone.

We found a small booth where they print out photo stickers. Those booths are small enough as it is, try piling 10+ people in them. It was interesting to say the least!

Lunch was uneventful. Other than the fact that the majority of us decided to get nachos and cheese and they were...well...less than wonderful... Flu spent most of her lunch entertaining us by running around the table flinging her arms around while being chased by a bee. At this time we were supposed to be meeting up with dustball, but at 2pm there was still no sign of her and we decided to head back to the rides.

After more wandering (and more coasters) we made our way to the video booth. Upon seeing Self Esteem by the Offspring, four lucky victi...er congressors were thrown together for a quick tribute to The Offspring. With Katie and Autumnondrugs on vocals, Boat on guitar and RiN on bass/tambourine we made ourselves our very first little CC video!

By now it was getting a little later in the day and we had lost a few members of our group. We all decided now would be a good time to tackle the white water Canyon. For those of you unfamiliar with wonderland, White water Canyon is where they stick 6 people on a huge inner tube with seats and send you down a river to take your chance to laugh at your friends getting soaked, or being the one that gets laughed at. One of the two is going to happen. We went on enough times that everyone got a chance to do both. Soaking wet and hungry we went for dinner. Pizza seemed safest bet, so we all overpaid for an undersized slice and enjoyed eating it too!

After a few more rides, it was time for me to head home. I still had an hour drive ahead of me, so my story ends here. But I am told that the people who did ended the night with a bang, quite literally. Apparently Wonderland had fireworks that night and everyone was treated to quite the show!
